Selling a lovely brand-new Talavera skull. Celebrate Mexico's festival to honor the deceased with one of its most recognized symbols, the calavera or skull. Talavera is a hand painted ceramic of Southern Mexico made famous by years of traditional pottery craftsmanship. Genuine Talavera pottery is made from a mixture of two clays, a dark clay and a light, slightly rose-colored clay. It’s hand formed with a potter’s wheel or using molds, not poured. It uses six color pigments, and its color combination enhances the workmanship, and all pieces are hand-painted.Please look at the pictures, as they are the finest description of the item.I describe the items to the best of my knowledge.
