sizzling ! 1980s Vintage Nautical Dress Sz Large 16 Chelsea Ltd. Red + Navy Blue Pinup

Ahoy! A phenomenal vintage nautical piece in a rare larger size, 16! Made by Chelsea Ltd, this adorable dress is a vibrant red + navy with great accents including a peplum w/ ribbon trim, soft/thin shoulder pads, an adjustable belt w/ a gold tone buckle, 3/4 sleeves + a pretty keyhole at the back of the neck. Though I believe this to be from the 1980s, I think this also could be worn in a very timeless 1940s/ starlet sailor kind of way! Fantastic condition + marked size 16, but please see measurements below (it may be more like a contemporary day Large):
